Sputtering, squeaking & check engine light blinking

Asked by Guru9ZC9GM Dec 04, 2020 at 12:33 PM about the 2007 Chrysler Town & Country FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ever since I got the water pump replaced my
van has been squeaking. Sometimes it's
louder than others but as long as it's running
it's squeaking! This morning as I was backing
out of my driveway to go to work my van
began to sputter& acting like it was gonna
die. I looked at the dash and noticed the
check engine light was blinking. I put it in
drive& it sputtered a little more & check
engine light stayed on but it made it to work.
Squeaking louder than before but still made
it. Does anyone know what I need to do?

Sounds like a engine misfire due to the blinking check engine light. I would take it back and have them fix that issue. The squeaking could be the fact they got antifreeze on the belt and now it's squeaking.
