I have a 2000 Acura RL. Car will not start. All the lights come on and there is a clicking noise. I was told it might be the starter, but they want a small fortune to fix it! Any suggestions?

there were times when my 2002 acura wouldn't start so I looked in the book that came with the car and it said the way your wheels are turned could cause the car not to start, turn your steering wheel either way to see if the wheels are stuck, keep turning them until they become unstuck, it should start if that is the problem. I sat in my car for at least 1 hour calling everyone I knew, no one could help me, so i looked through my book saw what it said about not starting because of the wheels, I tried it and it worked!
