White noise sound coming from drivers side windshield support speaker when turned off

I am test driving a 2007 H3. When I sit in it with key not in ignition there is a white noise
sound coming from the drivers side windshield support small round speaker. when I insert
the key it stops. When I shut it off after a minute or so the white noise sound comes
back. What is it?
