07 H3, brakes locked up while driving.

We were troubleshooting a "no brake light" issue last night, checking fuses,
bulbs, and wiring harnesses.  Also took out the brake light switch at the
brake pedal to test it.  It was working fine.  This morning my son calls me and
says his brakes are locked up and his pedal is stiff.  Any ideas?  Maybe
when we were pressing the brake pedal checking and removing the brake
light switch, it built up pressure and can't release it?
