So you have a loud clicking noise and still are driving it 60 mph? Could be many things. Where is the noise coming from? Engine, transmission, front or rear suspension, under the floor boards, exhaust? Start with looking at the drive shaft make sure nothing is wrapped around it. (Corn stalk, wire, garbage bag, debris-zip tie on the drive shaft is a funny joke to pull on someone) If its all clear it could be bad u-joints? Just have to look for the obvious first n go from there.

It's coming from my gear box (differential box) that has to do with 4wd that makes any sense..

Do you mean transfer case? That is what allows the front axle to engage and disengage when you go in or out of 4wd. Its located next to the transmission. Differential is in your front and rear axles. I would first check the fluid level in it, if it's low fill to the proper level. Then loom for a leak. If it's not low then you need to take it to a transmission shop or a very good mechanic.

My front propeller shaft was making a clicking noise, pulled it out and checked the u-joint and CV all OK, but the drive shaft itself sounds like it has another pipe inside the tube that moves independently of the actual drive line rattling inside. I don't know if it was some kind of balancing mechanism that wore out but that is where my noise was coming from. I just replaced the whole shaft.
