My 2001 Landrover discovery II will not move in reverse or drive.

Asked by Kaygraham Jul 29, 2013 at 01:11 PM about the 2001 Land Rover Discovery Series II 4 Dr SD AWD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car normally drives very well.  Periodically, the car will not go into reverse or drive for a short period.  Then after a minute or so it will.  I had the transmission serviced and the problem still continues.  What is going on?

sounds like the fluid is low or you have a bigger problem internally in the transmission, I'd say take her to a transmission shop and get her a checkup, maybe there's something bigger going on.
