New Jags are not very reliable and used Jags are worse. Very expensive to repair, but they sure look and drive good.

If you find that you don't like the vehicle and can get another one, then go for it. My experience with my Jaguar X-Type - 2003 with now 97,000 miles has been very very positive. The reliability of the vehicle is very high. If you find a good mechanic who is not at a Jaguar Dealership, like mine, then you are good. Mine was a mechanic at two Jaguar Dealers for a combined total of 35 years. I drive 77 miles one way to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I also recommend that you join your local Jaguar Club. A WEALTH of information. Good luck!
