1997 subaru svx loss of power steering

power steering suddenly stopped working, the belts are ok the pump spins and
there's fluid in the reservoir up to the designated fill point. but from what i can
deduce the solenoid on the steering pump is not getting any power. what's
worse i cannot find hide nor hair of a fuse for this component. its a confusing
issue to be sure

Hard steering or Non-Assist can result from hydraulic/mechanical failure conditions. very important to know when this conditions occurs. it could be but not limited to: Power steering pump, Steering gear internal mechanism. Pump flow and pressure test may have to be performed. also check: resistance at Vehicle speed signal circuit, Power steering valve solenoid. Thanks.
