My speedometer recently went out. Unfortunately, I learned that my speedometer does not simply have a cable but is electronic. I need a part that the Chevy parts dealer called a Buffer.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I assume it is some kind of electronic module that operates the speedometer.  Chevrolet no longer carries and he does not know where I could purchase a new one.  Does anyone know where I could purchase a new one?
