how to stop hood open warning light from comming on?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byBghhkUIXQ Had a problem on my 2009 jaguar xf, replacing the switch solved my problem. It's hidden in a pretty weird spot but you only need a 10mm socket to do the job.
