My rear light do not work right when headlights turn on

Asked by bob2056 Mar 03, 2018 at 10:07 AM about the 2006 Jaguar X-TYPE 3.0L Sedan AWD

front light all good, including turn signals.  Back lights when headlights are on go crazy.  The turn signal lights do not work and the brake and night red lights blink alternately as does the top stop light and there is a clicking noise coming from the shifter box in the center console.
