Add transmission fluid now it won't go in reverse

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car was skipping just a little when you first
drive off. I had the transmission fluid checked, it
was low then when they filled it now It want go in
reverse, it won't back up what should I do? Will only
drive forward

Have the transmission diagnosed by a local reputable shop in your area. your era of Jaguar is known for transmission issues. If the fluid was low, you have a leak and low fluid means heat and transmissions don't like heat. Might be time for a rebuild.
