The fans are running to cool the radiator coolant down to a set cool down temperature.

Is your Jag running hot? A cooling system service may be needed. If the car is running cooler the fan run time after shutting it off will be shorter.

Hi dear , I have Jaquar xtupe 2002 ,and i have noticed that the lpwer fan is working faster than the upper one , please could help if it is normal ? thanks a lot fot your reply ...Amjad
