Dual Exhaust

Asked by Jerry Mar 15, 2018 at 09:50 PM about the 2002 Jaguar X-TYPE 3.0L AWD

Question type: Car Customization

I have an 02 Jaguar X-Type with a 3.0L engine. It is time to redo my exhaust.
My question is, will it harm my engine or performance if I make it dual exhaust
directly from the catalytic converters just passed the Downstream O2 Sensor
with removing the resonators?

I would not bypass any of the original factory parts. The new cars with the computers don't take to change well.
