How do I jumpstart my 2006 Jaguar S type from under the hood

If you can find another Jag like yours, open the hood and see how the mechanism works. You might be able to use a small rod to reach up from under the hood and trigger the main release so you can open the safety catch by hand. I have done it on several cars but never on a Jag S
