what gm rear ends / differentials gu6 3.42 will interchange/bolt on to a 91 suburban 1500 with oem 10 bolt . cant find orig in salvage yards.

axles are 6 lug    
was told gm has a 14 bolt light truck rear end that will fit exactly.
is there a chart, document or information path i can look up to find a suitable
rear end

The only 6 lug 14 bolt comes on the next generation truck from yours. The 88-98 2500 light duty, if your suburban is in fact a v1500 it's the older body (73- 87) just because the suburban didn't change with the trucks until 92. If you found one it will NOT BE a direct fit. You need to get a 10 bolt from the same body style truck as yours to be a direct swap

have found local salvage has a GU6 in a 1993 suburban fit y/n is there a list of interchangeable years and gm models
