Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This 3/8" steel tube comes out on passenger side between firewall and valve
cover then connects to rubber hose which fastens to the heater core. Any
thoughts on how I can get to this tube to replace it? Thank you for any help.

You can also visit gmpartsgiant or gmpartsdirect and look at an exploded view of the cooling system parts. That'll give you an idea of how the tube is mounted and where the fasteners are. Hope that helps! Jim

I checked those sites and many others to no avail. Looked for engines for sale, etc., hoping to find one showing exactly where and how this tube attaches to the engine, but nothing shows up. Auto parts stores even sell this tube so they are no help either. Anyhow, I just wanted to thank you @beatupchevy, and@Js08016 for your input. Thanks.
