why is my car alarm going off as soon as i unlock my door and not going off

The car alarm goes on as soon as I unlock the doors and stays on even while
I'm driving, it only goes off after I turn the car off and lock the doors.  Please
help

You might consider referencing the Owners Manual for direction on how to resolve this issue.

Is this a Toyota Alarm System....or.....an After Market add on?

When driving down the road car alarm keeps going off. Me and my friend took out the ignition my friend broke the little plastic piece on the ignition lock module. We have not got a new ignition. When we did it would not lock in gear to keep the car running which grinding my starter out. Had to get another. As of now I took the ignition back because it didn't work. I have some needle nose pliers in the ignition now hold it over with a lipstick. Car runs good now car will not run without alarm coming on off. What can I do to fix this problem?

Make....model...year? When the engine is runnig...any warning lights on or flashing? If you are starting and runniing this vehicle without an ignition key....the computer on this vehicle thinks you are stealing the vehicle..thus....it activates the theft alarm system. Do you have a second ...spare...ignition key?
