Leaking around vss

1992 chevy suburban c1500 Shifts straight
from 1st right to 3rd back to back little rpm
change so speed is 15 to 20 in 3rd truck
shakes of course. It will go into overdrive its
just getting there that's the problem. I have
noticed a leak past the vss and have cleaned
connectors at vss and the one mid way the
overdrive lock up I think. Had to reset
computer and worked perfect for a long
time. It happens again but this time I found a
blown fuse by the brake pedal. Replaced and
reset but no luck. From light reading it
sounds like limp mode for tranny. I have
adjusted TV cable to compensate and a lot
better wont shift out of first until 15 to 20
but will still coast strait from 2nd to 3rd
pretty fast if light pressure on gas. The rest
of gear change seams normal. Side note
speedometer was jerky at low speed before
cleaning connectors

Fix Fix been away for a while working on my own problem. Bad VSS signal going to buffer module due to shorting wires on harness guide clips. Was getting enough signal to operate speedometer but was not enough usable signal 4 PCM to correctly operate transmission up downshifts. Solution replace transmission wiring harness going to VSS buffer module
