Can I use a 3.1 engine from a 92 Lumina in a 94 Dodge Intrepid?

I want to take the engine out of my 92 Lumina and have it installed in a 94 Dodge Intrepid will this interchange work considering my engine sits sideways in my car.

Doubt that would work. I mean im sure you could make it work but thats gonna be alot of work. Alot. They are two different motors from different manufactures nothing will line up and none of the wires harnesses will be the same, connectors computer, ect. Get a motor from another chrylser for a better fit

That would be a major project to put a Chevrolet engine in a Dodge. What transmission are you planning on using?
