I have a 95 chevy that wont stay running

truck ran fine then 1 day wouldnt start i found out the carb wasnt getting any gas so i bought a new fuel pump i droped the tanked replaced fuel pump then the truck started for about 5 sec then turned off the only way the truck stayes on is if u give it gas i bought a new relay for the fuel pump but wasnt that if any 1 knows wat it could be id appreciate it

It sounds like you got a bad fuel pump or the wires came loose to it.

pump sounds good though a pressure and flow test would prove it.id say look for a vacuum leak around intake manifold
