kid got his neck stuck in them? it was forced, or someone brutalized the switch..pushing it down so that the contacts do not work~ set down a guitar case on the arm? something like that...suspect the switch has been squashed~

Your Buick is a rare vehicle, and while it shares components with other GM cars its a tricky one. I would check the Master Fuse or the Fuse Switch. Did they both stop working at the same time, or on different dates? Did you notice any issues with them working, when they did function (Slow to close, any mechanical noises outside of the norm like scraping, or clanging?). Ill keep an eye on your thread to reply when send a response! Best of luck!

You could consider swapping the switches out on both doors. I have compiled a list of compatible GM cars, you could check around at the junk yards and get them at a pretty inexpensive price (vs. OEM or a Auto Parts Store). power to both windows are controlled from the one multi- switch...that's why I've seen this condition...both windows get their juice from that one switch...because you can turn off or on the passenger switch~ disassemble and get to the switch...push it back together and bend the tabs so that will not happen again very easily~
