how do i change the fuel pump

Before you do anything, Unhook the battery and take it out completely, you do not need any kind of electrical current to ignite the fuel. Drain all of the gas out of the tank, remove the straps that hold the tank into place. unplug the wiring harness that goes to the tank also unhook any fuel lines as well as filler line.

whoa whoa whoa, do take the battery out but DO NOT drop the tank! In the trunk on the right side directly next to the back seat under the carpet is a access panel, that's where and how to change fuel pump.

I have a question is it normal that a 1999 buick park avenue ultra has a different fuel pump in it other then the one that should of been in it, cause I feel like I'm getting taking by the guy thats working on my car?

I have a 93 Park Ave and it looks like I have to drop the tank cannot find any asccedss port through trunk or cab
