I had the same problem with my LeSabre and I dumped a whole bottle of Lubegard Red and then just kept driving although I would let up on the throttle for the 1-2 shift and it took a couple of thousand miles of easy driving and one day I had to push it in low gear to miss an oncoming goofy driver and the 1-2 shift was smooooooth as silk and now it is better shifting in all the gear. I admit I did drain the fluid and add another bottle after 1,000 miles, but it worked and all is good.

Nice I'll try that. That's funny because that's what I've been doing letting off before it shifts into 2nd I found out there was a service bulitin by gm for that trans it was for the 2nd cluch assembly. I'll try that red stuff but I put a bottle of Lucas in it is it ok to put that red stuff in it with out drain it because of the Lucas add.
