how can stop the check oil level sign from coming on when first started

check the oil sign comes on when first  started in the morning.

If the light is coming on there may be a problem. Have you checked the oil level? Changed the oil and filter lately? How long is the light on for?

Also what weight oil are you using? Winter should be 5W30 or so. If you are using 10W40 that is too thick

Like Ford says, if you live where it is really cold, oil that is too thick can be a problem. Your owners manual will give recommendations for cold weather oil weight.

The light is not on. The sign is on the left side of the dish where you check your mileage It gose off if you push reset .
