Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can't open hood.  Can I jump battery from under
the back seat where battery is located?  Where do I
put the cables?

You can. Simply clamp the cables directly to the dead battery cables at the battery. Positive first then negative. The clamp the other ends of the jumper cables to the running vehicle. Same deal, positive first then negative. Remove the jumper cables in the reverse order once your Buick is running. Hope that helps! Jim

Red goes to the positive battery terminal; black goes to a good grounding location. Do the positive cable first and them connect the ground cable. Do the same thing to the car/battery you are using to start your car. When cables are being removed, be careful not to short any together in the process.
