Temp light

Was gifted a 99' buick lesaber. Its holding coolant,
freash oil change but my temp light keeps slowly
turning on but not all the way. Should i be worried?

Yes most definitely should be worried. You should not be driving the car until this gets fixed. You do not want the engine to over heat. The cause for this could be several things, fans not coming on, sticking thermostat, bad water plump, low coolant. This needs to be checked out asap.

I would find someone with a remote temp sensor...when the light comes on check the temp at the thermostat and where the top radiator hose goes into the radiator. If you are lucky the car is not overheating, just a bad sending unit.

It looks lik ive had the defrost on by mistake as well The light isnt coming on now
