My brother has a 2003 buick century 3.1 he is getting code p0446, he has changed the evap canister valve, charcoal canister vent valve, pcv valve and the rubber on the gas cap and the code will not go away. Do you have any idea of what else it could be, he is saying there is no gas leak.

Did he clear the code and then do a drive cycle? It usually takes 20 minutes.

Also try removing the battery cable...that will reset some of the codes

he did clear the codes and drive the car and they came back on. he also removed the battery cable.

Then he will most likely need a smoke test ran on the fuel tanks purge system to locate the problem, or he has wiring problems.

ok, thank you for your help.
