If all the dash lights are out along with the tail lights then it is probably a fuse. If only one dash light is out, it is probably the bulb.
Agreed, if only one light is out it's likely the bulb not a fuse. You can find videos on Youtube on changing a dash light for your make/model. Once you see how the dash bezel or cover comes off it's not that hard.
