Car randomly shakes while driving

Asked by Daliah May 17, 2017 at 05:38 PM about the 1993 Buick Century Custom Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car runs beautiful any other time, engine and
transmission are fine. Randomly it will start to
shake really bad while I'm in the middle of driving.
It's not related to a certain speed, it really is
random. It randomly stops after maybe 10-15
seconds then car drives smooth again. While its
shaking it still excellerates, brakes, and shifts like
normal.

There would be a worn front end suspension part. Take it into a shop to be looked at, or check for worn, loose ball joints, tie-rod ends, wheel bearings.
