Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 chrysler town and country and today i went out to it flashing all the exterior lights. It would flash the headlights and tail lights all at the same time and then it would alternate between those and the turnsignals. I pulled fuses to see if that would stop it and i got the turnsignals to stop but i obviously put it back in its place and it kept on going. I then resorted to unhooking my battery for a few minutes and it actually worked. I'm looking for some answers why this would happend and if anyone else has experienced this problem before. Thank you

Do you have an alarm system on it?(factory or aftermarket). Sounds like it might have been set off.
