Had transmission rebilt and re installed my self no car wont start any ideas Its clicking like it wants to start but wont turn over.

i would guess that it is you park/neutral safety switch on your transmission should look like the photo attached .check to see if its installed correctly . assuming that the clicking you are talking about is from a relay could mean that A-your starter relay is bad B-your starter is locked up in your flex plate and wont release

take 'em apart and twirl the main round facing the other way. if it said heads and were a big coin, we'd want tails, y'see of course I'm sure the geometry hasn't changed here, but did you have trouble fitting the bolts? that would be clue number one.

was never taken off engine so cant be backwards never un bollted any other ideas

Will have to check in am dark now. My son In law took it out. I took and had rebuilt. He was unable to reinstall so i did, I have done a lot of car fixin but thus car stumps me every time would there be a reason it would not start from reinstallation
