I got a 2006 PT Cruiser that won't get fire or
gas and the code come up as p 0499

Do you know if the PT Cruiser has relay switch for fuel and Spark

It is most likely a bad vent valve solenoid, also called NVLD switch. Circuit high means that either the circuit or the component has a open. You can check the wiring connection and wiring closely to make sure a wire is not unhooked or broken, but it is most likely the switch itself. It is about $20-$25 part from the dealer. Not sure if aftermarket parts stores carry it yet.// it's a vacuum related leak on the Evap system
