Car damaged - wasn't told

I purchased my car from a pre owned certified dealership and discovered from taking my car to a body shop (for a minor damage I put on the car) that the front bumper had been damaged prior to my purchasing it. This was never told to me by the dealership. What should I do?

Depending on your state of residence you may have some recourse under the lemon law, or you may want to contact the state Attorney General's office to see if there is any recourse there. The Better Business Bureau may also be able to help. I would first try to resolve this with the dealership, of course, depending when you bought the car, they may just claim ignorance.
That's funny...I have a Porsche Boxster S and recently got a small hole in the front bumper cover at one of the license plate holes. When checking I discovered this was a previous repair. My car was "Porsche Certified" when purchased from the Porsche dealer. I guess "certified" means all mechanical issues are good and all body issues are good. These vehicles may have been repaired and all issues corrected at the time of purchase.
