2007 Pontiac Grand Prix SE aux question

I just bought a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix SE, I see a CD/AUX button but no Aux
port. I bought an adapotor to plug in with a USB and Aux port, but can't get my
iphone to play through the radio. Is there a work around without spending too
much money? I

I am not 100% I think the aux port is on the back of radio as a USB port or 4.5mm jack. Either way pull radio or transmitter to FM radio side from phone. Everyone on your station gets to enjoy your awesome music. About 38-50 for a good tramsmitter
