First try removing and cleaning battery if that does not most likely the starter. Also battery maybe bad have battery and alternator may not be charging have both tested.
starter could have oxide on the solenoid. replace the solenoid and the starter would be good. in most cases.
Clicking indicates the starter is not receiving enough voltage to actually spin the engine. Check for and clean off any corrosion on your battery connections and have your battery checked. You may want to try jumping the car from another. If it works, it is another indicator that the problem is the battery.

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix I went to start my car and it went to crank over and then it didn’t and now it’s not cracking at all
