Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 07 Grand Prix it randomly starts
when i try to crank it.... When I turn the key
on the rpm gages go to and forth and when I
actually try to crank it and it doesn't start I
hear a click in the dash. My battery is fully
charged. My doc also won't come on. What
could it be?

Try having the starter checked out and your cable connections examined for corrosion.

Ok so here j am months later still trying to fix this damn car! I am a woman who is learning as i go and also at it alone. And im usually pressed for time but anyway i have changed my starter, alternator, battery, ran new battery cables, practically all newfuses, and new pcm. I have done the theft system bypass multiple times bc the cars electrical system resets often. Once bypassed DIC reads charging system failure, battery saver active.... For the longest time i had a light that was just hanging under steering column that would never turn off no matter if car was off and key out of ignition so i cut those wires also trunck wasnt closing all the way bc dic would show trunk ajar at all times. So that was possible drainage bit once i cut those wires and got trunck to close car would crank up and run just fine for like a week. well its still not holding a charge and car will start idleing slow and lights start going dim then crf will just die. Last time the endine was literally shaking.... plz help
