Pontiac 2007 G6 6 cylinder 3.5L, It has snowed a couple times now, well basically freezing rain then ice. I bought the car a month or so ago and didn't know how it handles so breaked hard enough to slide. ABS didn't kick in, though maybe i just didn't get it right so at higher speeds 15-20 I straight locked up the tires and slid a good 10+ feet. This got me curious so i punched theaccelerator and the wheels just spun. Staring at the dash i never saw a trac light or anything comeon and it wasn't acting like it was engaging either. Is there a control my suodule or fuse that maybe went out? any suggestions on where to start would be apreciated. I'll google around a bit as the fuse idea just came to me. Thank you in advance for any advice.

I've reciently after aquiring the vehicle had to have an instalation which they had to bypass the auto start. I've called the service center and the manufacturer of the product and they tell me it is a possibility one of the wires got disturbed during the install. I will be bringing it in next week for an inspection. will try to remember to update the post if this is the case. If it is, hopefully it will assist others in the future.
