I've attempted to unlock the trunk from inside the vehicle by pulling the safety latch with a clothes hanger, but no results.
Is it, maybe I'm not pulling it hard enough?
Probably. Nothing to lose if you try a harder pull. It should work with hand power but if it has never been used, it may be stiffer than that.
Thanks. I was able to get it open. Actually, I unknowingly had opened the trunk but it had the lifts missing thus not allowing the trunk lid to pop open.
