ran out of gas, new fuel but won't start

Do you have fuel pressure? Did the fuel filter get plugged because of sediment in the tank flowed because you ran it out of gas?

Gasoline flowing through the fuel pump cools and lubricates the pump motor. By running it dry you most likely burned out the fuel pump. Hope that helps! Jim

The new fuel pressure gauge I bought shows 54 PSI, fires up kinda with a bit of starting fluid. I need to check the timing but should be okay since was running fine when it ran out. The pump was put in 2,000 miles ago.

I also replaced the external fuel filter on the passenger side.

I also have no codes on my scanner.
