I have a dead battery and need to open my frunk. I do not have a terminal in my fuse box. Is there any other way to open the frunk?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can't use the electrical method to open the frunk as there is no terminal. I
assumed this was standard equipment for all 987 Boxster S. Is this incorrect?

Open the fuse cover in the left side driver foot-well. There is a "pull-out" terminal you can use to jump the electrical system and open the hood. This is pictured in the owners manual. You can also charge the battery through the cigarette lighter if you have the proper charger.

HI, how I can resolve the same problem if my battery is not inside the car, as I took it out for winter season from the car. When I put the electric wires on terminal, my alarm is making noise but there is not opening the hood of Bonet. is there any other way how I can switch off alarm horn and make the enough energy supply to opne the hood?
