My starter keeps burning out. had it replaced in march. lasted 6 months then same problem. had it replaced and only lasted a day and same problem.

If the starter worked properly when installed, shuts off when you release the key, I suspect you are getting bump starters, unless you are abusing them with a hard starting motor.

Do you have the right size wire going to the starter? Should be about 4 gauge, Are the wires in good condition? Are the making good contact? Does the battery have 12 volts? You may also want to check starter solenoid...

if the starters are remanufactured spend alittle bit more and get a new and I bet the problems goes away
