No heat to heater

My heater went out. I replaced the thermostat with
first a 180% and then a 195 degree thermostat.  
Still no heat from heater. I am wondering if heater
control vavle in it has gone bad cause the heater
blows out just cold. Also whether it is electronic or
vacuum operated and its location please

Look along the heater hose to the core, you would see an actuated valve along it if it has a heater control valve. Any parts store could look up your vehicle and tell you what type it was. You should also check the problem isn't caused by a bad blend door or actuator.
