Skip the self test. It's a bad buzzer. It needs replaced. I just did it about a month ago in ours. I purchased the OEM buzzer from the dealer, which was fairly expensive for a buzzer (around $30 I think). However it's simply unplug the old one and plug in the new one. There's a video on YouTube that also walks you through it. I highly recommend checking it out.
