I just put black electrical tape over the light

I just put black electrical tape over the light............
I tried all the other fixes to no avail, this is an easy fix for the glaring light.

Did you try visiting your local auto parts store and have them scan the computer for trouble codes? That's what you need to do to begin troubleshooting. Then once you have the codes take the vehicle to a reputable shop to be fixed. Don't take the vehicle to the clowns at your local gas station either! They won't be able to fix the problem!
