2007 buick lucerne window wipers stop working

heard loud boom and then wipers stop working.  It was a snow storm.  How do you reset sensor or is there a fuse for wipers?

My daughter had this happen to her on her 2006 Buick Lucerne. She heard a big bang also and her wipers quit working.It turned out to be a bent arm connecting to the motor.
