stabilitrac and brake service lights on

Asked by signman9999 Jun 26, 2016 at 10:08 AM about the 2007 Buick Lucerne V6 CXL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok I tried to save some money and just changed the front brakes.  All went easier than any other brakes I have changed. Went to test it down the road and brake pedal went almost to the floor.  Figure for some reason I need to bleed the brakes even though I never opened the system.  Now the stabilitrac and the brake service lights are on.   What am I missing?

Most times you need to press the pedal several times before putting the car in drive with the engine running that will build up. Brake pressure.

yes I did that before before I even took it for a test drive. all appeared fine. after about three blocks is when the service lights came on
