Multiple DIC warnings came on suddenly.

Asked by Cruzpro Dec 27, 2014 at 03:51 AM about the 2007 Buick Lucerne CXS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had a new altenator installed 3 months ago after the "Service charging system" message light came on. Since then, the battery light and same message come on intermittantly. Repair shop has been unable diagnose the problem and states that the new altinator is putting out the correct voltage.

Tonight, the red battery light came on and the "Service charging system" warning. In addition I was receiving warnings about "brake assist", "stabilitrack", "traction control", "park assist" "check suspension system" among others. Also, the transmission kept jumping between gears and made mainting speed on the highway difficult. Is this altenator related? Not sure where to proceed on this.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
