Replacement A/C compressor bumping
the tensioner pulley.  Are there different
tensioner available?

I looked at belt routing diagram for your vehicle, 3.oL engine. The picture, is it the correct routing? Just from the picture, I can't see how in the world the compressor would hit the tensioner? Of course, I can't see anything from here. Obviously, something isn't right.
