What is the difference, if any, between the front CV Axles on 2005 - 2007 Subaru Outback 2.5 XT (turbo) models vs 2.5 non-turbo models.

Asked by gtaxles Feb 19, 2014 at 02:26 AM about the 2007 Subaru Outback 2.5 XT Limited Wagon AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Subaru dealers offer new axles at $400 for both XT turbo's & non turbo models while
offering rebuilt ones ($200) for only the non turbo models. Talked to two parts departments
& they didn't know why or how they were different

I would expect a slight difference due to the XT's increased power and performance, try a local shop and see what they have to say.
